Orissa Stevedores Limited (OSL), Kakinada branch handled a record tonnage of 3,92,829.172 M/Tbns of Arabic Mix Crude Oil Corporation, which has been transshipped into vessels m. v. L.M. Tilak, m.v. Satyamurthy, and m.v. N.S.Bose.All the above tankers wee sailed from Kakinada to various Ports such as Haldia, Chennai, and Visakhapatnam. The Mother vessel M.T. “sea World”, the third largest vessel in the world, arrived from Juaymah, Saudi Arabian port under the agency of M/s GAC shipping (I) Private Limited, Kakinada on 29-04-03 and sailed on 10-05-03. In this connection, in a press release, Mr. S.V.I.N.R. Murthy, senior Executive of OSL, Kakinada has thanked Mr. D.S. Rao, Manager (shipping), Ioc Kakinaa Deep Water Port and Custom Officials for their excellent co-operation to fulfill the entire operation successfully.
